This joyous holiday event features our 50+ voice children’s choir\, a performance by the Prelude Prep Snowflake chorus\, and faculty and student performances from our private lesson studios. \nThe recital will be held on Saturday\, December 13th at 6:30 PM at the beautiful St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx. Space is limited. To purchase tickets\, please click the EventBrite link below. \nWe look forward to joining us this year! \nProgram:\nSelect BSM students will perform solo works by Bach\, Chopin\, Mendelssohn\, Mozart and more! \nPiano Sonata No. 16 in C Major\, K. 545\, “Sonata facile” arranged by Edvard Grieg for two pianos\, performed by Aspect Music Foundation Scholar Jason Afovi and BSM Founder Philip Kwoka. \nSelections from the Nutcracker Suite for Two Pianos\, performed by piano faculty Alina Nenasheva and Josue Nunez. \nRomance and Waltz from Rachmaninoff’s Suite No. 2 for Two Pianos\, performed by piano faculty Philip Kwoka and Viona Sanjaya. \nFinale – BSM Student Choir performing Selections of Holiday Music\, with a special performance of Peace\, Peace & Silent Night arranged by Rick & Sylvia Powell.
