
Mia Neibert
Early Childhood Music
Mia is a versatile vocalist and early childhood music teacher. She holds a degree in Professional Music; concentrating in vocal performance and songwriting from Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, Mia performed both as a back up singer and lead singer in several bands in the Boston area. She has also done session singing work for contemporary music and childrens songs. Mia had the pleasure of performing back up for the band, Dispatch at Madison Square Garden.
In 2007, Mia became certified to teach early childhood music classes. She has taught music in: caregiver/child classes, preschools, special needs schools and outreach programs across the city. As well as, entertaining at birthday parties. In 2016, she completed a training to teach early childhood music classes in Spanish, incorporating language and music development in her classes.
Mia loves sharing the gift of music with young children. In class, she accompanies herself on baritone ukulele. She brings warmth, fun and creativity to her classes.
Outside of music, Mia loves working with essential oils and loves making aromatherapy blends. She resides in Manhattan and has two lovely daughters.
