NY Philharmonic in the Park, Spring 2025!

Join Bronx School for Music as we celebrate a beloved spring tradition—gathering together to enjoy the magic of live orchestral music at Concerts in the Parks in Van Cortlandt Park, one of the Bronx’s most scenic outdoor spaces. This annual outing has become a cherished part of our school community’s way of welcoming the warmer season.

As part of its long-standing Concerts in the Parks series, the New York Philharmonic invites everyone to experience a free evening of world-class music under the open sky. This year’s performance will be led by Gustavo Dudamel, the Philharmonic’s acclaimed Music Director—celebrated for his vibrant energy, inspiring presence, and dedication to making classical music accessible to all. His leadership promises a stirring evening that truly captures the joy of spring.

The concert takes place on the Parade Ground in Van Cortlandt Park, a large open field near the park’s southern end. For easiest access, enter the park at Broadway and West 251st Street.
