
Aleksandar Hadzievski

A native of Belgrade, Serbia, Aleksandar Hadžievski embarked on his musical journey at the age of six at the Josip Slavenski Music School. In 2018, Aleksandar moved to New York where he began his studies with Nina Svetlanova, as a Bachelor of Music candidate at the Manhattan School of Music (2018-2020), and later continued his studies at Mannes School of Music, where he graduated from with academic honors in 2022. He is currently pursuing Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at the Mannes School of Music, in the studio of Vladimir Valjarevic.
Aleksandar was a prize winner at multiple national and international competitions, most notably at the III George Gershwin International Music Competition in New York City (3rd prize) and National Piano Competition of Serbia (2nd prize). He was featured in several radio shows in New York and Belgrade, as well as on the Serbian National Television. He had an opportunity to perform in various prestigious venues in both Serbia and United States, including Carnegie Hall, Opera America, Kosciuszko Foundation, Baruch Performing Arts Center, Kolarac Concert Hall, and Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
More recently, Aleksandar has given a solo recital at the illustrious Ohrid Summer Music Festival in North Macedonia (2021) and received recognitions from the City Council of New York for his contribution to art, as well as the New York State Assembly for his creative contribution in support to the people of Ukraine (2022). In addition to his performance career, Aleksandar established and maintained his private piano studio in New York City, where he actively teaches since 2019.
