Bronx School for Music is thrilled to announce that it will host a Kids Yoga Class for the first time in it’s history” with Cece Thomas. RSVP below!
BSM Founder Philip Kwoka is introducing a very important concept to Bronx School for Music families and students, connecting breathe with Music & Movement. Musicians sometimes forget to breathe while performing and this class will be an exciting way for students to start learning how to become in tune with their body through breathe and movement!
This class will take place from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM and will be open children ages 7-13 along with their parents.
About the instructor:
Cece Thomas is a New York based yoga instructor with a deep passion for people and connecting one another through community. Inspired by music, poetry and rhythmic energy embodiment, she believes yoga is the balance of polarities ignited by the breath, allowing for more peace and harmony within.
How to access Bronx School for Music:
BSM is located at 3348 Perry Ave., Bronx, NY 10467. Class will take place in BSM’s outdoor event space. If you are driving, there is a free parking lot located directly across the street between 3341 and 3347 Perry ave. To enter the lot, please call 347-202-5402 and ask the reception to open the gate! If you are using mass transit, you can access BSM via MetroNorth (Williamsbridge Station), the MTA subway lines 2, 4, and D.
